Application: Determine Throughput

Tin Model programs yield the following information:

1. Achievable deposition rate: a vapor source is specified for the maximum power that can be applied to it. The Deposition Rate Calculator* in Tin Model programs predicts the maximum deposition rates a particular PVD process can achieve for a given material under the power.

2. Thickness distribution: it tells the areas in substrates (or substrate carriers) where the thickness uniformity is within the specification, thus, the yield.

Above information leads directly to the determination of throughput.
