To determine if certain specification is achievable requires in-depth knowledge of your coating process, while new challenges can present themselves to equipment providers and thin-film manufacturers.
With V-Grade 5S series modeling tools you can determine, in great certainty, if a specification is realistic with given equipment and/or what process modification is needed to meet it.
In essence, a V-Grade 5S series program can be employed to qualify specifications as thickness uniformity, deposition rate,* material consumption etc.
